Entry Requirements
(1) Age limit:
A. Applicants for master's degree studies must be above the age of 18 before the starting date of the program and under the age of 40.
(2) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, be in good health, and abide by the laws and regulations of Chinese Government and local government, as well as regulations of SWUFE, without any record of violation of laws and disciplines.
(3) Applicants for master's degree studies must have a bachelor’s degree. Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have a master's degree.
(4) Language Requirement
Programs taught in Chinese
i. Having passed HSK Level 5 or above with a total score over 180 points;
ii. Having passed HSK Level 4 with a total score over 180 points is eligible too. However, applicants must participate in the self-paid language program in the first semester of the degree program and pass Level 5 or above with a total score over 180 points within one semester before the second semester. Students who do not achieve this will not be allowed to continue to study in the degree program and the admission offer will be canceled.
iii. Applicants whose native language is Chinese, or can provide proof of studying in a 2-year or above degree program in which the teaching language is Chinese, can apply for the waiver.

1. Applicants who are in China currently should also provide the copy of the page of his/her current visa or resident permit.

*2. Two Recommendation Letters
The referee should be professor or associate professor or person with relevant academic title.
*3. Physical Examination Form(only valid for 6 months)
Please take it to hospital to have a checkup with all items, including personal information, photo, checking date, doctors' suggestion and signature.

*5. First page of your passport
The passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the expected date of exit from the country.
*6. Passport photo
One passport photo taken within 6 months.
*7. Certificate of Bachelor degree
Certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
If the student has not obtained degree yet, the student should provide original official letter that states this student will obtain the degree before August 31st of current year. This letter should be issued by the student’s current school.*8. Bank Statement
Certificate of your family financial situation background. You need to go to the bank to issue a deposit of your family financial situation.
9. Other materials
Other optional documents that could present applicants’ academic and comprehensive ability, for example, award certificate, published paper, etc.
*10. Academic Transcripts of Bachelor degree
Academic Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
11. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct
Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.
